Doner Kebab
preparation: 60 min.
Ingredients for 4 servings:
1 lb ground lamb
1 lb ground beef
3 slices white toast
1 egg
2 tbsp olive oil
4 pita breads
Marc’s Doner Kebab Spice Mix
Utensils:
aluminum foil, oven, sharp knife
Directions:
Mix
the
cold
meat
with
toast,
egg,
olive
oil
and
4
tbsp
Doner
Kebab
Spice
Mix.
Process
in
a
food
processor
to
sausage
meat
consistency.
Form
a
cylindric
shape
of
the
mix
and
cover twice with aluminum foil. Preheat oven to 375°F and bake the doner for 50 minutes until done.
Uncover and slice very thin. Slice pockets into the pita breads and stuff with the meat, diced tomatos, salad, cucumber, onion, tzatziki and chili flakes.

cooks.

lamb

mutton

turkey

chicken.
It

on
a
plate
with
various
accompaniments,
stuffed
in
pita
breads
or
wrapped
in flatbread known as Dürüm.
